Bobby and Barbara Darwin were having breakfast in the main house at the Darwin Ranch before beginning another full day's work at the nearby Darwin Zoo.

The 18 year old twin siblings were expert veterinarians and wildlife conservationalists.

"Any word from Mum?" asked Barbara referring to their 40 year old mother Terri Darwin who chaired the Darwin Foundation that funded the zoo and other conservation activities in Australia.

"You know Mum sis. Always off somewhere doing Foundation business. She probably went out of town for a few days" replied Bobby as he tried to rationalise why they hadn't seen or heard from Terri in a few days.

"Yeah. Mum doesn't always tell us where she is or what she's doing" agreed Barbara. She noticed Bobby was looking at a shiny green stone in the palm of his right hand with an intense look in his eyes.

Barbara had a similar stone which she got from the same person that Bobby got his.
