Underwater the exhausted Astrid was fighting a desperate battle, one that she was losing. Her nanites were burned out, giving her only constant healing, but no extra strength or power. She had barely defeated one Takken and now three of them were determined to have her.

After a struggle she was in real trouble, the controlled creatures' tentacles held her arms immobilized and pulled her legs out wide. All the while, the voice rang in her head, the voice that controlled them.

"Impressive! No other creature has survived a tangle with even one Takken, and now you try to take on three - it shall be a joy to break your cunt"
