There is never a shortage of business to tend to in Scar City. Roland will now demonstrate how he became the master of his domain in Chapter 23 of our tale.

Meet Belinda Stout. She has a very busy schedule, being the head of another multi-national corporation. Belinda is about to find herself confronting some very ugly facts about business in the world of Roland Towsend and his corporation. Dear Max and Mitru:

First of all, Belinda’s design immediately seemed to me like a cruel, calculating person who doesn’t give a thought to someone who isn’t herself… so seeing what will happen in the next two covers seems very distressing… for her.

But if that was the impression you wanted to give for Belinda, this worked!

The other thing I loved was how Roland’s nonchalanty dismisses the impression he makes onto others. Something tells me that he has led a life that some day appearing with the mask of the Phantom of the Opera and with yellow eyes is not something that the people who knew him consider strange.

Another thing is the background: its deceiving, but the background helps to make the atmosphere: Here we see how lives a privileged person at Scar City. I think all the things that will happen in next two isssues will show us how the powerful had fallen.

I can’t wait to see next issue. The page with the info was very useful, thanks!
