Longtime HIPcomix member Dumbtime, the co-creator of the character known as "Freedom Broad", has decided that she needs a new name. He has boiled down a list of nominees, which we would like the rest of the staff and members here to vote on. While Dumbtime naturally has final say over the new name for his character, he values your opinions and the poll results will factor heavily into his final decision. Take a look at the options below and vote for your favorite. Thanks for everyone contributing on this matter. The issue at hand with her name is the notion that a serious crime fighting Amazon princess can't be taken seriously with a codename like "Freedom Broad." The idea has been mentioned before and now I think its time to knock it around some and see where it stands. I want to extend my upmost gratitude to Doc Robo for helping me in this matter and providing this poll for me to collect data from you guys in order to move forward on this issue. Your opinions are very welcome when it comes to "getting it right." Look for the results of my research to turn up in future episodes of the "Freedom Broad"'s series. For those who haven't voted, please take a moment and briefly check out the free issues of the first episode of her story and her bio page in the Metrobay Encyclopedia and help me decide how to move on this matter by voting. Hmmm. The cover has a girl who looks very familiar, and she has "AA" on her forehead. ... although that could just stand for "Amazing Ass". |
